Represented by over 80 countries, we are a global community, and represent modern Britain.
We actively stand up to hate and intolerance by being upstanders. We live in a world where to bystand hatred allows it to fester and grow. We believe in the ‘Tolerance paradox’ where to be truly tolerant, we need to be intolerant of intolerance’. We aim to support students to actively stand up to discrimination and hatred and stop in its roots. We have specialist assemblies and PHSE sessions to support with this, and work with partner organisations to be at the forefront of character development.
We know that for every student to be successful with us, they need to feel like they belong. Belong in our school community, local community and national community. We want our young people to develop into upstanders, up standing against hatred and intolerance and ensuring they do the right thing, not the easy thing.
