Getting in touch with school

Parents/carers and staff at Paddington Academy share the same common goal to bring out the best in every student.

Clear communication and close links between school and home are an essential part of  ensuring that students achieve their very best, whilst also enjoying the best possible educational experience.

Reporting absence

If your child is absent, please telephone the school office before 8.30 am on 0207 4793900. On the day that a student returns to school, a note must be brought in to explain the absence. Any unexplained absence is recorded as an unauthorised absence.

Raising concerns or questions

Your son/daughter’s Form Tutor is the first point of contact for general academic or pastoral queries.  They can usually help manage contact with other teachers.

If further assistance is required the Head of Year can also be contacted.

Arbor app

We encourage all parents to download the Arbor app on their phone so they can have easy access to all aspects of school life.  With the app, parents will be able to view student attendance, school policies, news, forms, achievements and general school information.

Please note

Our receptionist will either handle or redirect to the relevant person questions or concerns about financial matters eg  payments for lunch, trips or music lessons.

As teachers are often delivering lessons they may not be able to respond immediately.  If you have an urgent query, please contact Reception.
